Thermal Resistivity
Rocks and terrains thermal properties are of great importance to any geothermal energy project, in cooling or heating systems, underground piping and wiring. Thermal properties of terrain are important in any situation in which heat becomes relevant.
The purpose of a thermal resistivity test is to acquire thermal conductivity or thermal resistivity and the temperature of the ground at a determined depth. This tests may be performed in situ or from samples collected and analyzed in laboratory. Both tests are performed using transitory heat method and are performed according to Standard IEEE 442-1996 and Standard Test Method ASTM D5334-08 for determination of soil and soft rock thermal conductivity
In every project we make an utmost effort to fulfill the proposed objectives and reach a high quality professional work.
We invest in the latest technologies to achieve the best results and reduce the margin of error to a minimum.
